Alma Negra — La Hammonia Estate, Nicaragua
Born in the mist-veiled highlands of Nicaragua’s La Hammonia Estate, Alma Negra—“Black Soul”—embodies the spirit and depth of the land it comes from. Grown beneath the lush canopy of Selva Negra, where fertile volcanic soils and cool mountain air shape every bean, this dark roast reveals a harmony of strength and elegance. This coffee is a single strain Caturra from this estate's highest elevation growing field in the Matagalpa region of Nicaragua.
Each cup opens with bold, roasted cacao and smoked cedar, unfolding into notes of molasses, black cherry, and spice that linger with velvety richness. The finish is smooth yet commanding—a quiet intensity that speaks of the forest’s mystery and the soul of its origin.
