Brasa del Valle - Colombia
Sourced from the high-altitude slopes of Colombia’s Huila region, this Excelso BCT Select washed coffee is cultivated between 1,300 and 1,650 meters above sea level, where cool mountain air and mineral-rich soils create ideal conditions for slow cherry maturation and exceptional flavor development.
This meticulously washed lot delivers a cup defined by clarity and structure. Bright notes of red apple, ripe cherry, and stone fruit unfold with a refined sweetness reminiscent of raw cane sugar, balanced by a gentle cocoa undertone. Its acidity is crisp yet polished, offering vibrancy without sharpness, while the body remains silky and medium-light, characteristic of carefully selected Excelso grades.
The finish is clean and enduring, with subtle caramel and citrus zest lingering gracefully. This expression of Colombian terroir captures both precision and approachability — a hallmark of high-grown washed coffees from the Andean highlands of Colombia
