Rodriguez de Mendoza province - Medium Roast
From the lush northern highlands of Peru’s Rodríguez de Mendoza province, this coffee is cultivated by the Asociación de Productores Cafetaleros de la Cuenca del Rio Marañón (APROCCURMA), a collective that works directly with 124 women producers. These women-led farms, often just a few acres in size, are nurtured with organic practices and intercropped with shade trees, bananas, corn, and beans, creating a biodiverse environment that enhances both sustainability and cup quality
Harvesting is carried out by hand with meticulous care. Each cherry is carefully sorted before undergoing traditional on-farm processing—depulping, fermenting, washing, and drying—all completed at small micro-mills to preserve the distinct character of each lot.
The result is a coffee with layered complexity, balancing sweetness, bright fruit notes, and a gentle, clean finish
Recommended Pour-Over Brewing Method:
For Balanced Flavor & Clarity, Pour-over brewing is a great way to highlight the clarity and complexity of coffee flavors. It provides control over variables like grind size, water temperature, and pour technique, resulting in a clean and flavorful cup. This method works great for bringing out bright acidity and nuanced flavors.
